The new version of Fedora 31 and QGIS 3.10 have been released. Today, I am going to install QGIS on Fedora 31. It is very interesting to try new OS as well as new version of QGIS 3.10. During my test, QGIS runs very well on Fedora 31. I don’t have any issues at all.
Before we jump to the installation, you may want to check my previous post to install QGIS on Ubuntu 19.10 or Debian 10.
Steps to Install QGIS on Fedora 31
There are several steps we need to do prior to the actual installation process. First, we need to setup the QGIS repository for Fedora 31.
sudo dnf copr enable dani/qgis
Please follow the on screen wizard to complete the repository setup. Make sure you have a good internet connection. Next, use the following command to install QGIS on Fedora 31
sudo dnf install qgis python3-qgis qgis-grass
