When we use the base map layer on ArcGIS Pro, it will show/display the service layer credits on the layout. Otherwise you want to display the information, we can remove this text with some simple steps. The Service layer credits show detailed information about the data sources for that base map layer. When we use the base map layer on ArcGIS Pro, this information will be visible on the layout. Usually, it will be visible at the bottom right of our layout.
How to Remove Service Layer Credits from Layout on ArcGIS Pro
Actually, we cannot completely remove this layer credits from the layout. We can only move it outside the layout so it will not visible on the map. To do this, follow this instructions:
- Go to the Insert tab
- Click the small arrow next to Dynamic Text
- Scroll down and click Service Layer Credits.
- Now you should be able to move the text.
- Click the area you want to put the text.
Done.
