Mapinfo Professional supports many kind of spatial datasets. It also supports CSV, Microsoft Excel (.xls and .xlsx). In this article, I am going to show you how to export a MapInfo table to CSV format. CSV (Comma delimited) file is a universal file format which is usable on many GIS software including ArcGIS, QGIS,and many more.
First, open the table in MapInfo. For this particular purpose, I have a data point as follow

To export to CSV, go to Table tab and then click the Export button. Specify the export file location. Don’t forget to choose CSV on the file of types.

Click Save and wait until the export process completes.
