File Geodatabase is a powerful way to store data in ArcGIS. We can store vector and also raster file to geodatabase format. Today we are going to learn how to export raster to geodatabase format on ArcGIS 10.6. On my previous article, you’ve learned how to export vector data to file geodatabase. The steps are pretty similar. The only difference is the source file/feature. This time, we will export a raster/image layer to file geodatabase.
Steps to export raster to file geodatabase
Step 1. Create a new file geodatabase
Skip this step if you have a file geodatabase already. Please follow my previous article to create a new file geodatabase.
Step 2. Open raster
Now open the raster/image on ArcMap.
Next, right-click the raster layer and then go to Data | Export data.
