ArcGIS Pro is an advanced mapping software. It is pretty much easier compared to the previous ArcMap. Making a beautiful map is way better and easier on ArcGIS Pro. But, if you want to bring your maps to the next level, you need to try ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud. This is an Adobe extension for ArcGIS Pro users. With this tool, we can bring/export our map from ArcGIS Pro and do further editing in Illustrator or Photoshop. Even further, we can create maps, and add layers from ArcGIS Online into Adobe Illustrator.
ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud supports Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. In order to use it, you will need a valid ArcGIS license. ArcGIS Pro for Personal Use is also valid. First, download and install ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud from the link below.

Once installed, open Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop and enable the extension. You can log in using your ArcGIS Online account, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Individual Plus account.
And then you can start compile your map directly from Adobe Illustrator.
ArcGIS Maps for Adobe is a useful extension for cartographer. We can also export a map from ArcGIS Pro to AIX format. And then open the AIX file from Adobe Illustrator. All the layers, object names, symbology will be available and editable in Adobe Illustrator.
