On my previous article, you’ve learned how to create a File Geodatabase on ArcGIS 10.6. Also, you can export your GIS data to the geodatabase file. Now, I want to show you how to open geodatabase on QGIS. I am using QGIS version 3.0.2 on Windows 10. QGIS doing pretty well. It supports ArcGIS geodatabase file. We can directly open features from the geodatabase file.
Open ArcGIS Geodatabase on QGIS
By default, QGIS will recognize the ArcGIS Geodatabase file (.gdb). You can open the feature from the geodatabase file by dragging it to the map window. See the following example:
Its pretty easy right? You may open geodatabase file, but you cannot add features to existing geodatabase file from QGIS.
