MAPublisher is third party software that works seamlessly with Adobe Illustrator to create stunning maps. All geographic information from your GIS file will be available in Adobe Illustrator. Steps to Import Mapinfo Table to MAPublisher
First, open Adobe Illustrator and then create new Document. Then, go to File | Import Map Data | Import. Next, change the File Type to Mapinfo Table (Tab). Click Browse and then locate your Mapinfo Table.
This import step will read the projection of the file automatically. But, you can also change it using the Projection menu. In few moments, the Mapinfo Table will be visible in Illustrator. As you can see there is a new layer called RyoDacite_area in Illustrator.
Finally, you can change color, or even edit the imported file in Illustrator.
