Welcome to another ArcGIS Pro Tutorial. In this article, we will learn how to clip vector layers using polygon in ArcGIS Pro. In this case, I have a large contour layer and I will cut this layer with a polygon. ArcGIS Pro comes with a set of tools that can be used for many purposes. Before we go through, please make sure that you have the required license to run the tool.
This is the original contour layer that I want to cut.

Now we are ready to start.
First, go to the Geoprocessing Tool tab and search for Clip (Analysis Tool). Double-click the tool to run it.

In the Input Features or Dataset field, choose the vector layer you want to clip. And then specify the Clip Features (the polygon file/layer). Lastly, give the output a new name and save it to your geodatabase.
Click Run to start the process.

Done.
